Fame and Fizz
Challenge.
The challenge presented was to select a renowned individual, whether historical or contemporary, and draw inspiration from their life to create a beverage style, flavor, label design, and color scheme. The task also included designing the label using Canva, exporting it as a jpeg, and then transforming it into a 3-D mock-up through Artboard Studio or a similar program.
Action.
In response to this challenge, I selected some of my favorite musicians as the sources of inspiration. I began by stylizing photos of these musicians and incorporating them into the design of a slim can drink. Color theory played a pivotal role in establishing a cohesive brand identity for each product, capturing elements of the artists' lifestyles and musical essence.
Result.
The outcome of this assignment resulted in the creation of two distinct beverage concepts: "Mick Jenkins Water" and "Gucci Mane Lemonade." These beverages were carefully crafted to draw inspiration from moments in the respective artists' careers, with their names and flavor profiles mirroring their musical themes. The designs successfully encapsulated the essence of each artist's style and personality.
